Written by PMA's Creative Director Adam Klugman, "Simple" quickly became the centerpiece of the 1-800 PLUMBER launch. By evoking nostalgia for a simpler time, this approach centered the 1-800 PLUMBER brand around a set of resurrected American values that connect dependable service, high customer expectations with dependability and innocence. "Simple" generated millions new customers for 1-800 PLUMBER which went on to take its place alongside 1-800 DENTIST as one of the great Direct Response success stories.
